Sungrow & BeePlanet: a strategic partnership to accelerate C&I energy storage in Europe

What changes with this collaboration

Last May, Sungrow and BeePlanet announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to drive comprehensive battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions for the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector in Europe. The agreement combines two complementary layers:

Sungrow's Tier-1 hardware: the PowerStack and PowerTitan ranges, the latter featuring solutions of up to 5 MWh per unit, as the physical foundation of the storage system.
BHive®, BeePlanet's proprietary EMS: the software layer that manages the installation from start to finish—sizing, commissioning, operation, and 24/7 technical support—leveraging BeePlanet's experience across more than 175 projects and 80 MWh under management.

The alliance does not change the roles of either company: Sungrow remains the storage hardware manufacturer, while BeePlanet acts as the integrator and energy management partner, providing the software and local service that turn that hardware into an operational and profitable installation throughout its service life.
